Cal Buckley is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Aurora, Ontario, carving out his place in the North American music scene with a heartfelt blend of folk, rock, and country. Dubbed the “Canadian Elvis” by Luke Bryan during his breakout run on American Idol Season 23—where he earned a Golden Ticket—Cal’s music channels honesty, grit, and soul, resonating with fans drawn to authentic storytelling.
Following the completion of his debut EP More Time in late 2025, Cal Buckley returns with “Snows In California,” a bright, hook-driven pop-country anthem inspired by a frozen-hearted California romance and LA’s coldest winter in decades. Witty, upbeat, and heartbreak‑tinged, Snows In California turns emotional frost into a warm, feel‑good singalong — a clever twist on heartbreak that feels just as at home on a road trip playlist as it does on country radio.
At 18, Cal dove headfirst into acting and music, a choice that has deeply informed his creative voice and emotional range. His songs often reflect the trials and triumphs of youth, shaped by real loss, love, and growth. After losing a close friend to mental health struggles in high school, Cal and his brother Thomas co-founded Rock the Barn Toronto, a grassroots charity concert supporting Canadian mental health initiatives.
