Cal Buckley is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Aurora, Ontario, carving out a distinct space in the North American music scene with his raw blend of folk, rock, and country. Dubbed the “Canadian Elvis” by Luke Bryan during his run on American Idol Season 23—where he earned a coveted Golden Ticket—Cal’s music captures the coming-of-age experience with honesty, grit, and heart.
At 18, Cal moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and dive deeper into the U.S. music landscape, a move that shaped his storytelling and sound. His songs reflect the trials and triumphs of youth, shaped by real loss and lived experience. After losing a close friend to mental health struggles in high school, Cal and his brother Thomas co-founded Rock the Barn Toronto, a grassroots charity concert supporting Canadian mental health programs.
Now signed to the emerging Canadian label Breathe Entertainment, Cal released his debut single, 'Man on the Moon,' on July 18. His second single, 'I'm Not Him,' followed on August 21, and his third and final single, 'Burn Away,' will release on September 12. His first EP is set to arrive this October.

‘Man on the Moon’ is the debut single from Cal Buckley’s debut EP, releasing in October.
